The upcoming Pioneer Test marks one of the first times players outside of the development team will get hands-on access to Ragnarok Online 3. While official information remains limited, several key points have been confirmed – and others remain open to speculation.
What is the Pioneer Test?
The Pioneer Test is the first public test phase for Ragnarok Online 3. However, it is currently unclear whether this is a limited technical preview, a closed beta, or the beginning of a larger testing cycle. No official label such as “Closed Beta” or “Open Beta” has been used.
What we do know:
- It is a PC-only, non-commercial test phase
- All progress will be wiped afterward
- No in-game purchases or monetization are involved
Please note: This test is available exclusively for Windows PCs. All game progress will be deleted after the test ends.
When does it start?
- Start Date: August 8, 2025
- Sign-ups: Already open
- Duration: Not officially confirmed
The exact testing period and content scope have not been publicly detailed yet.
Who can participate?
Participation is region-limited, and not everyone will be eligible:
- Europe is explicitly excluded
- Other supported regions have not yet been confirmed
- Players from selected areas may apply
To participate, players must:
- Be from a supported region (Europe excluded)
- Have access to a suitable PC
- Be willing to accept a data wipe
